Having graduated in 1994 at the University of Melbourne, Jason has pursued his interests in sports medicine and orthopaedics for the past 30 years. Having been the Chief Medical Officer for the Melbourne Storm Rugby League Club for 10 years, he continues at the club as their medical advisor. Dr Chan has been involved with VFL/community football, soccer, Melbourne Rebels and Queensland State of Origin rugby. Founder of Surgical Assistants Group of Victoria, Dr Chan has extensive orthopaedic experience and access to high performance practitioners from all disciplines.
A father of 5 and grandfather to 3, he enjoys anything involving a ball, and despite a lack of talent, is trying this year to lower his golf handicap.
